Khosrow Semnani served for eight years as Vice Chairman and for three years as Chairman of The Board of Trustees for Encyclopedia Iranica at Columbia University.

Awards

Khosrow Semnani was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science degree from Southern Utah University in May 2005 for his outstanding work in the field of nuclear waste management.
