In 2006, the Semnani Foundation established and became the major source of funding for the development of a free medical clinic, the Maliheh Free Clinic, in South Salt Lake, Utah.  The clinic serves the residents of the greater Salt Lake City area without any cost to the patients and without governmental funding or red tape.  Today, the Maliheh Clinic has treated over 50,000 patients thanks to the contributions of doctors, volunteers and members of the community.
